Research and Review Methodology

At FindShilajit, we aim to provide useful, transparent and evidence based information about Shilajit, supplements, brands and related health topics. Our research and review process combines information from multiple sources rather than relying on a single website, advertisement or customer claim.

How We Research Health Content

Our content writing team researches each topic before preparing an article. We look for relevant scientific research, expert information, official sources, product information and other reliable references available for the subject.

We compare information from multiple sources, identify differences or limitations and aim to clearly distinguish established evidence from claims, traditional use, user experiences and areas where research is limited.

Health related content is treated carefully because information about supplements can involve safety, medications, medical conditions and individual differences.

How We Research and Review Brands

When reviewing a Shilajit brand or product, we first visit the brand’s official website and examine the information it provides about its products, ingredients, manufacturing, testing, sourcing and company background.

Where available, we check whether the brand provides laboratory reports, certificates of analysis (COAs), testing information or other documentation supporting its product claims.

We also check the brand’s presence on major marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho. We compare product listings, product names, ingredients, quantities, claims, packaging information and available customer reviews across platforms.

Customer Reviews and User Experience

Customer reviews can provide useful information about real-world product experiences, but they are not treated as scientific evidence. We look for recurring patterns, differences between reviews and potentially useful observations while recognizing that individual experiences can vary.

We may also review publicly available videos on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok to understand how products are presented and discussed by users and creators.

When appropriate and legally permitted, we may use screenshots or other visual evidence from publicly available sources to support specific observations, with the original source clearly referenced.

Brand and Business Presence

We also examine a brand’s wider online presence, including its social media activity, website information, marketplace presence and publicly available company details.

Where information is available, we look at whether a company appears to manufacture its own products or primarily operates as a reseller, private-label business or dropshipping business. We do not automatically treat any business model as good or bad. The purpose is to provide readers with relevant background information.

Our Editorial Process

Our research and content team reviews the information collected, checks important claims against available evidence and organizes the findings into an understandable article.

We do not guarantee that every source or customer claim is accurate. Evidence can change, product information can change and online listings can become outdated. Therefore, our articles may be reviewed and updated when meaningful new information becomes available.

Our goal is not to promote or attack a particular brand. We aim to explain what information is publicly available, what evidence supports a claim, what remains uncertain and what readers should consider before making their own decisions.
